What it is
Wood wool board is made of long wood fibres, mineralised and bound with cement into a rigid, open-textured board. The mineralisation makes it far more fire resistant than plain wood, and the open surface absorbs sound. It is fixed straight to walls and ceilings as a hard-wearing acoustic finish that can be left natural or painted.
